To help prevent accidental data loss, we've added a new feature that allows you to recover your last edited code even if a room has been deleted.
To reduce server costs, SyncFiddle automatically deletes rooms 7 days (*1) after their last access.
Previously, it was not possible to recover code from deleted rooms.
With this update, if your browser still has the code saved locally, you'll be able to retrieve it even after the room has been deleted.
How it works
- When you access a deleted room, you'll see a message: "Oops! Room Not Found."
- If recovery data exists, you can click the "Copy to Clipboard" button to copy the code to your clipboard.
- You can then paste it into a new room to continue working.
Notes
- This feature only works if you previously edited the room using the same browser.
- The saved code will be retained for 7 days (*2) before it is automatically deleted.
- Recovery won't work in incognito/private mode or on different devices.
